Upcoming Events

Kids are welcome at Agape dinner church & services!  Our services are intentionally intergenerationally friendly for kids.  Several adults are present during services to supervise preschool and elementary school youth in doing art and other faith formation projects.  Children are welcome to participate as much as they desire in the services themselves.  Each service has a "Children's Moment" for kids :)

Energization, Yoga, Chanting & Meditation
Sunday, Oct. 29th at 5pm
50 Church St., Waltham
Paramahansa Yogananda was an Indian yogi and guru who in the 20th century introduced millions of
westerners to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga. Energization exercises are the unique
contribution of Yogananda to the science of yoga. They are a system of exercises that teach us to use
the power of the will to control the conscious life force that flows through us. Learning from the
wisdom of Yogananda, we will learn the energization exercises, do several gentle yoga poses, sing a
contemplative chant or two, and go deep into the practice of meditation. Children are welcome as we
will have, as always, two children's helpers and a separate play & practice space for children.
